The UP441-CL inline presser foot allows you to sew inside narrow channels, along narrow gussets, and very close to an edge, step, or buckle.

I’ve made improvements to the foot design for 2021. The new version has a curved leg and comes closer to the front foot for improved control and closer material holding while going around curves.

The SET consists of both the rear foot and the generic front foot.

The inline foot is a direct replacement for the standard blanket foot. No adjustments to the presser bar are necessary.

The front foot is a generic item that I'm making available as a convenience (it is part of a standard blanket foot set and many people already have it.)

This inline foot can be used with various throat plates. It works best, however, on a flat surface like the UTP441HM2 flat-top harness maker throat plate, or the UT441 flatbed attachment.

Note: The UP441-CL foot is NOT recommended to be used with the standard curved throat plate. This foot will step right into the oversized throat plate opening if there is no material at all. Thin material may get pushed into the throat plate opening. The curve in the throat plate will also cause the foot to only make contact at the front tip, increasing the likelihood of leaving marks.

Note: This foot is best suited for sewing thick and stiff material. Because there is nothing holding the material down directly next to the needle hole as the knot gets pulled up, thin or soft material may get lifted up and prevent the knot from getting pulled into the material.
