The UTP441NF is useful when you need a very smooth flat-top throat plate that allows for needle feed operation. Needle feed operation is desirable in certain applications where a feed dog would interfere or mark the material, or if the material would get caught or pushed into the large standard throat opening.
The UTP441NF throat plate will fit most 441 class machines, including Juki TSC-441, Cowboy CB 3200/3500/4500/5500, Cobra Class 4, Techsew 5100, and many others.
The UTP441NF throat plate is a great companion to the UP-441-ILSS inline presser foot, but it's equally useful with other common 441 style presser feet.
The throat plate is milled from solid 304 stainless steel bar stock. It has a smooth and flat top surface without ridges or teeth that can leave marks on certain types of leather.
Two mounting screws are included for 441 class machines. Mounting screw size is 3/16"-28 for all 441 class machines except CB-3200, which uses M5 mounting screws.
The UTP441NF throat plate will also fit Durkopp Adler 205-370 machines and clones. No mounting screws are included for Adler 205-370. Please use your own, existing throat plate mounting screws.
NOTE: You need to remove the feed dog to use this needle feed throat plate.
NOTE: Do not operate the machine without material under the feet (the inner foot will drag on throat plate and scratch it)
